AMERICAN Legion James Evans Post #341
The American Legion's primary objective includes service-oriented activities and projects to help its
veterans, community and schools. Membership is open to armed forces veterans of World Wars I and
II, the Korean War, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, Panama and Granada. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. the
first and third Thursday of each month at the post at 50 Washington Avenue in Cicero. The post opens
at 1 p.m. Monday - Friday and at 12 noon Saturdays. For more information, contact the American

Heights Area Youth Spring and Summer Sports
Hamilton Heights Youth Baseball and Softball Program This organization is located in Cicero but
works cooperatively with Arcadia, Atlanta and White River areas on the ball programs.

Friends of the Park Organization
The Friends of the Park Organization was created in 1995 to help promote and support the Cicero
Parks Department. The group assists the Cicero Parks Department with various activities throughout
the year as well as sponsor a number of events to help raise money to benefit local parks.

Hamilton North Chamber of Commerce
The Hamilton North Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to helping develop and promote the economic
and educational climate, prosperity, and quality of life in Cicero, Arcadia, Atlanta and its surrounding
communities in northern Hamilton County. Membership is open to any business, organization or individual
that would like to be more involved with the inner workings of the northern part of the county. Meetings are
conducted at 12 noon the first Tuesday of the month at various business locations in Cicero and feature a

Library Partners
Membership in the organization is open to any individual interested in supporting and promoting the activities
of the Hamilton North Public Library and branches in Atlanta and Arcadia. The Library Partners meet on the
second Tuesday monthly at the main library in Cicero at 7pm with featured guest speakers and light refreshments.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Organization Post #8756
The Cicero Veterans of Foreign War Post #8756, which was chartered on January 20, 1986, is a service-based group.
The local VFW promotes activities and projects that benefit veterans and the local community. Membership is open
to anyone who served in any branch of the armed services outside the continental United States in a combat zone.
Meetings are conducted at 7:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the American Legion Hall. For more information, contact Scott Miller at 984-4290.


Cicero Kiwanis
The Cicero Kiwanis Club has been providing service-oriented activities to youth in the community since 1980. In the
past eight years alone, the Cicero Kiwanis has raised and donated more than $70,000 for various projects, scholarships
and charities. The group is open to men and women by invitation. The local Kiwanis meet at 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays at
the Red Bridge Park Community Building in Cicero.


Boy Scout Troop #103

Boy Scout Troop #103 is a family-oriented organization dedicated to serving the local community and helping youth learn
new life skills. Enrollment is open to boys in the sixth grade through high school. Scouts from Troop #103 meet Monday
evenings at 7 p.m. at the Cicero United Methodist Church.


Cub Scout Pack #103
Cub Scout Pack #103 is a family-oriented organization designed to help young boys learn new life skills and sponsor projects that benefit the community. The pack is open to any child in first through fifth grades.

Girl Scouts - Manuka Service Unit
Learn valuable life skills through scouting. Explore the five worlds of Girl Scouting during biweekly meetings, field trips and other fun activities. Meeting dates and times vary for the troops September through May.
