Cicero Town Council
There are five council representatives. Two councilors are elected "at Large" and three councilors are
elected to serve a specific district; Districts 1, 2 and 3.

The Town Council meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm at the Town Hall
70 North Byron Street to review issues and create policies that  impact the town and residents.

                                The 2009 Council President Dennis Schrumpf  serves as the Chief
                                Executive Officer. Administrative Assistant Karen Blake  and Clerk Treasurer
                                Jan Unger both work with the Council on the day to day activities and functions
                                of the town. The council works closely with other government entities and the
                                town departments who serve Cicero.

                                The Council also functions as the Board of Works of Cicero and the
                                Redevelopment Commission. The Board of Works addresses issues, reviews
                                procedures and makes recommendations to the town council for practices and
                                policies regarding local utilities. The Redevelopment Commission address
                                issues such as TIF areas.
