Cicero, IN – The Town of Cicero’s Parks Department has undertaken a study to shape the development of the park system over the next 5 years.  The results of the study will be the development of a Master Parks Plan that outlines the needs of the community regarding recreation.

The plan requires input and comment from the public to help shape the overall vision and direction for the parks system in Cicero.  Last month, public surveys were conducted to help shape the initial draft of the plan.  The Town would like to invite the public to hear a presentation of the draft plan.  Representatives of the Town’s consultant, Butler Fairman, and Seufert, will make a brief presentation and then be available for comments immediately following the presentation.  The meeting will be held at the following time and location:

Draft Plan Presentation: September 8, 2016 at 6:30 pm

Location: Red Bridge Park

Community Building

697 West Jackson Street

The Town of Cicero and the Parks Department look forward to hearing from the public regarding the future of the parks system in Cicero and we thank you for your time. If you have any questions regarding this meeting or the plan, feel free to contact Jason Griffin, Project Manager, at 317.713.4615 or JGriffin@bfsengr.com.
