STREET/WATER/SEWER UPDATES

AUGUST 31, 2022 UPDATE:

Stringtown Pike rehabilitation is planned for 9/12 – 9/30 and will result in new road surface when complete.  During the project, there will be flaggers and one-way traffic during the workday.  The contractor will maintain access as best possible.  Specific dates and needs for residents can be coordinated with the contractor on site or by discussions with Terry Cooper with the Town Streets and Utility Department. Intermittent final work will also be performed in the month of October but will have less impact upon the traveling public.

DRINKING WATER: QUALITY CONCERNS
DJ Bennett is responsible for the operation of the Water Treatment Plant. The Water Plant extracts water from 4 wells in the area and    serves almost 2,900 customers. The Water Plant is a pressure filter treatment plant with chlorine for disinfecting.
