OVERVIEW
Parks Superintendent, Jim Hunter, directs all activities within the Cicero Parks System.
Currently, the Parks System is comprised of two main parks-Red Bridge Park and Community Park and the new Sports Complex. Together they consist of 50 acres with a marina and a variety of playground equipment for all ages, picnic areas, two miles of walking paths including the path along Stringtown Pike, and five ball diamonds.
The mission of the Cicero Parks Department is to foster the natural, cultural and recreational heritage of the Cicero Community through the on going development of its 2004-FiveYear Parks Plan.
The Parks System has recently incorporated a brand new Sports Complex Facility. This complex consists of five ball diamonds for our local youth and is available for public/leasing use.
The Cicero Friends of the Park is a non-profit organization that is highly involved with scheduling events and helping raise funds for the Parks special projects. For more information about the organization, news on the park or upcoming events, Please follow them on Facebook @ Cicero Friends of the Park.
