May 26th at 12:00 (Noon) the Cicero American Legion and the VFW will be hosting a ceremony to honor the veterans and fallen soldiers.  The event starts at the VFW Post and proceed to the causeway where they will honor the Navy and Merchant Marines.  WWII veteran Charles Ross will perform the ceremony.  The procession will continue to the cemetery  where WWII Army Veteran Floyd Beck will perform the memorial ceremony.

The memorial is honored to have the Hamilton Heights Marching Band join them during the parade.  They will be playing patriotic music throughout the ceremony.  The day will also have several guest speakers joining in.

If you are interested in participating in the event, please be at the post and ready by 11:45.
