Public Hearing for the Town’s application for Main Street Revitalization Funding

The Town of Cicero is hosting the 2nd Public Hearing on March 14, 2017 at 5:30pm at Town Hall.  The Town of Cicero intends to apply to the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for a grant from the State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Main Street Revitalization Program (MSRP) for facade restoration.  The buildings included in this project are along Jackson Street from Main Street to St. Rd. 19.  This area was selected based upon the Town’s Downtown Revitalization Study, which was completed in April of 2016.
Information related to this project will be available for review prior to the public hearing as of March 14, 2017 at the Cicero Clerk Treasurer’s Office located at 150 W Jackson Street, between the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm.  Interested citizens are invited to provide comments regarding the project either at the public hearing or by prior written statement.  Written comments should be submitted to Tina Henderson-PO Box 428 Arcadia, IN 46030, no later than March 13, 2017 in order to ensure placement of such comments in the official record of the public hearing proceedings.
