Notice is hereby given that the Town of Cicero proposes to sell the following vehicles:

1)      2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Vehicle 2WD

Approximately 86400 miles, Silver in color,

Minimum bid of $11,000.00 is required

2)      2013 Chevrolet Tahoe Police Vehicle 2WD

Approximately 70244 miles, Silver in color,

Vehicle # 1GNLC2EO9DR344525

Minimum bid of $12,500.00 is required

These vehicles have factory recalls, See recall information sheets.

Deadline to submit bid.  The bidder should submit bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid for Silver Tahoe”, no later than 4:00 p.m. on April  20th 2021.  Please mail or hand-deliver your bid to: Clerk Treasurer, Town of Cicero, P.O. Box 650, 331 East Jackson Street, Cicero, IN 46034.  Bids may also be presented on the night of the opening prior to 7pm. Bids will be opened at the April 20th meeting of the Cicero Town Council at 697 W Jackson Street, Cicero, IN at 7:00 PM.

Bid Proposal.  Bidder understands that the bid is for the vehicle in an As-Is condition and there are no expressed or implied warranties.  The Bidder agrees that this bid shall remain valid for a period of seven (7) days from the due date, and the successful bid may be accepted at any time during this seven (7) day period.  Bids not accepted within said seven (7) daytime period shall be deemed rejected.

Time Completion.  The Bidder agrees that if awarded the contract, he or she will pick up the vehicle within five (5) business days from time of notification.

Method of Payment.  The Bidder agrees that the acceptable method of payment shall be cash, certified check or money order.

General Agreements.  The Bidder agrees that he or she has examined this Notice of Bid, had the opportunity to examine the vehicles, and had the opportunity to review other relevant documents which may have been requested buy Bidder, and that he or she has carefully prepared his or her bid. The Bidder states that the amount set forth in his or her bid is correct and that no mistake or error has occurred in the bid or commutations.  The Bidder agrees he or she will make no claim for reformation after the scheduled closing time to the receipt of proposals.  The sale of said vehicles shall be made to the highest responsible and responsive bidder.  The town expressly reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
