The Town of Cicero’s East Jackson Street project is set to be complete late spring 2020. The project which includes: water main construction, new ADA sidewalks, curbing, bump outs, lighting, and road milling and paving is roughly 75% complete to date. The largest portion of the project remaining is the paving, which will take place spring of 2020. The Town is currently working with Duke on the installation of the new electrical boxes for the new streetlights and this should be completed in January. The project was partially funded by the Indiana Department of Transportation’s Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) and the Town of Cicero. The project is a near $1.3 million dollar investment into the community. Questions about the project can be sent to Street and Utilities Director, Terry Cooper at tcooper@townofcicero.in.gov or by calling 317-984-4833.
