There will be a public dedication ceremony for the Veterans’ Memorial Wall on July 22, 2017 at 11:00am.
Jody Brown, Post Commander, Cicero American Legion stated, “This project has definitely been a labor of love. Love for our community, our city, and of course our military men and women, past and present. This veterans memorial will not only add to the beauty of our town and to Red Bridge Park, but will stand as a legacy for each one of us who truly wanted to thank and honor our service members and especially our veterans who have served and honored us with their devotion and patriotism.”
This project has been made possible by the many contributions from area businesses, residents, the Cicero American Legion, the Cicero Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Town of Cicero, the Town of Cicero Parks Department, and all of the contractors, volunteers, and builders for the wall.
