NOTICE FROM THE HAMILTON COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT

13 September 2017

RE:         County Road Work – Full Depth Reclamation

Dear Resident:

The Hamilton County Highway Department is pleased to inform you that Voss Hiatt Ave., from Stringtown Pike to 1,500’ east of Stringtown Pike will be reconditioned. Weather permitting, Stabilization Services, Inc., will begin work on Wednesday, September 13th. The Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) process will be completed be Friday, September 15th.

The FDR process will consist of pulverizing the existing roadbed to a depth of 10”. A concrete slurry will then be incorporated into the pulverized roadbed. The road will then be graded and compacted in preparation for a final surface course. Hamilton County Highway personnel will place a chip and seal course over the project limits later this fall. Please be aware that there will be approximately a 1 hour time frame that access to and from your residence will not be possible during the FDR process.

Any questions should be directed to Mark Fisher of the Hamilton County Highway Department at (317)770-4479.  Please refer to the Voss Hiatt Ave. project when calling.

Sincerely,

Mark Fisher
