Gun Permits New procedures for the application or renewal of Indiana gun permits were established by the State of Indiana. Some counties, including Hamilton County, have begun an on-line application process. A person renewing or applying for a permit must go to the State Police web site, provided below, to begin the process. Once the required information for the permit is completed on-line, the individual can go the Police Department to complete the process. Please note that per state statue, only those residing within the corporate boundaries of Cicero can apply at the Cicero Police Department.
